How do I delete a group from my Group List if I'm no longer a member of that group?

I was a member of a group.  That group was deleted and I was ejected from it.  Now I can't remove the group from my Group List (under Contacts).  How do I delete the group?

The simple fact of being ejected should have removed the group from your list. So that must be a glitch. Did you quit and restart your viewer? If you did and the group still appears you may have to clear your cache manually to refresh your data.
