best place to learn how to build

was just wondering where is the best place to go or group to learn how to build, i want to learn from basics and want to learn how to become good at it

NCI and Builders Brewery both run excellent (free) classes.

Spending many hours in the public Sandboxes is a good place to be surrounded by creativity, and to see a variety of creation possibilities.

Second Life Building Video tutorials are very helpful in explaining how to perform specific task.

Inworld Building classes offer a paced and indepth approach to most lessons.

Learning how to build using the Grid is good place to start.

I agree with Innula that Builder's Brewery is one of the best places to find good classes.  You could also try Caledonian Oxbridge University and NCI.  If you open Search and look for Events >> Educational, you should find a list of classes available during the week at those places and others.  The best way to learn, however, is to experiment and practice a lot.  Find a nice, quiet sandbox, not one of the popular ones, or find a friend with land that you can play on.
