Do any of those prim skirts would come with alpha channels? In that case, some viewers don't support them. That could be an explanation to the fact that some people see your skirt and others don't. Check that in your inventory and in your worn items when you are wearing one of these outfits. Detaching the alpha layers from yourself could maybe fix it.

As Angel and Val have said, there are sometimes particular challenges with mesh objects rezzing or alpha sorting issues with textures that can make a skirt hard for some people to see.  If the sim is laggy, though, or if some people's own viewers are laggy, ordinary prim attachments can sometimes fail to rez properly.  I've had it happen many times. There's a perfectly good, though complicated reason.

If you are a builder, you have almost certainly found that some days it can take 10, 15, 20 seconds or more to rez a simple cube on the ground.  From the server's perspective, rezzing takes extra work.  The server has to calculate the position and shape of the new object, texture it, and then calculate its visual and physical effect on other things around it. The server deliberately "stalls" for a very short amount of time to do all of that.  The more complex an object is, the longer the server stalls. If there's a lot going on in the sim, lag happens.  An attachment presents an additional challenge, but this time it's a challenge to the viewer.  When your avatar moves and a flexi skirt has to follow, all of the animation that goes into what you see on the screen is done by your own graphics card. If you have a friend whose graphics card is already lagging and the sim's servers are lagging too, chances are good that it will take extra time figuring out where to rez your skirt.  Sometimes you can help things out by detaching and re-attaching the skirt yourself -- potentially kicking the server and viewers into taking a fresh look.  Sometimes, though, you just have to wait.

I think i have cracked this one .

if a person using V2 viewer for example "wears" a prim item on a certain location, then "adds" another prim item to the same location it could be possible for someone who uses an older viever (or one not supporting "ADD") to not see the "worn" item. That is the "worn" item is automaticly "detatched"

Any can confirm this?
