Yes; someone else already copy and pasted the relevant section(s) for you.

For a while, there was a trend going around to post a disclaimer in your profile stating that anyone speaking with you consented to having IM's being shared, whether or not they'd actually read anything in your profile, much less that disclaimer. This doesn't work, and the courts will just laugh at you if you try to uphold such an "agreement." The safest thing is to just keep IM's private, as they are intended to be.
