Top & Bottom Clothing Layers - feathering where they meet?

Hello

I posted this elsewhere but think I might have gotten the wrong area, maybe this area will help!

I have been creating clothing for a while now, but today my top layer and bottom layer now have a feathering thing at the seams where the skin can be seen and it looks terrible! Is this just my viewer? Or is it something else? How do I fix it?

Make sure to bleed your texturing out beyond the template borders by a good 10-20 pixels or more.  If you're already doing that, then that's all you can do.

Yeah, already extending the textures past the borders, is it just some sort of SL glitch?

 

I got it to work only if I use a Jacket layer which isn't what I need as I would like to put pants over the top *sigh*...

I have had a similiar issue. Have for long time. I use Jacket layers quite often to get around this.If you want to make a pant over it, you could use the jacket laywer lower for the pant top. And, make a regular pair of pants that would give the legs, but be hidden by the jacket layer. They could wear the pants either way, but might need to be spelled out clearly in file descriptions. Just an idea. Maybe not a good one! LOL
