having trouble opening second life (mac)

Question

hello ive had second life for a while on my mac it has always worked great but today it crashed 4 times and now when i try and open second life it does not open it wont even reach the log in part it just shuts down with a message that reads second life quit uniexpectedaly now i dont know how to fix this but i really want to fix it can somone help i have attached 2 links to screen shots of what it does before it crashes and what it says after please help :( i have also uninstalled twice and reinstaled also tryed firestorm but i cant understand it :( kitty

Hi Kitty. First I would suggest you check your Internet connection. Unplug your router, plug it back after a few minutes and restart your Mac. Connect to the web before launching SL to refresh your IP. Contact also your ISP to see if your line is OK.

If it does not help, you may try a clean reinstall of V3 (delete all the other viewers you may have). The instructions below are from Phoenix but they work also for the official viewer.

Make sure you also clear any viewer's cache on both in the viewer's preferences and on your hard drive:
