I can't receive emails from someone when this person is not close to me I tried different viewers

I have something weird, there is one person from whom I can receive IMs when she s not on the same sim as me.

She receives mine, I see that she s typing but nothing comes.

when I tp her, I suddenly see what she writes.

can anyone help me on that?

Probably lag on one of the sims.  Either that or she has been typing but hasn't hit the Enter key yet.

There's no typing animation for IMs

If you "see that she's typing" she's typing in chat

@Peter: I think the OP is referring to the text above the chat window stating "_________ is typing..."

I used to get this all the time, though I get it much less frequently now. It's often lag, as Rolig said, so you might want to ask you friend if the sim they're on is laggy, or maybe yours is. I don't know of any fix for this, unfrotunately, other than to be patient. If you see that the person is typing and get nothing, ask them if they are actually typing, as sometimes the chat window might say they are when they actually aren't. Also, if they send you another message, sometimes that'll "unstick" the chat. Then, if they were typing, just have them send the message again if you didn't get it.
