Question

I've just recently gotten into the fashion business, well sort of anyways, I'm trying to make clothes and sell them blah blah blah...the only problem I have encountered so far is that I have a top that I made in photoshop and I save it as TGA and have deleted the background layers with the templates and all, but when I try to import it to SL and go to appearance and attach the texture to a shirt it loads the ugly white shirt with it (mines a tube top) so I have sleeves and everything! I simply don't know how to fix this ...I've watched videos and tried to research what I am doing wrong!! Please Help! I'm losing my mind!!!

You need to save it as a TGA  with a transparent background, not a standard TGA. An alternative is a png, but again, it MUST have a transparent background. It is actually loading just what you sent it :D. You need to send it "less" *wink*.  Most programs will do transparent pngs and tgas. I always use the tga method.

Good luck. Also you can upload your texture temporarily (it goes away and just shows as gray after awhile) if you are using a third party viewer that suppots that function. Many do including Phoenix, Firestorm and Imprudence. That way you aren't paying for your texture trials. You can also log into the beta grid and upload and test there.
