I am 65 enjoy second life and have not found places to really make many freinds here.  I have gone to many destinations recommended and usually find no one there.

I like things like:

Ballrooms

Art and crafty things

Just bumming around with another friend.

I have many intersts a mile long so most anything would work.

Friends of any age are fine with me as I am very young at heart.so I would just like some friends to do things wtih here.

hi mariah (:

groups the secret to SL

if u like art and crafts then join the LEA groups. Linden Endowment for the Arts. is open to join. they always having events and shows and send u a notice when they on

Show and Tell events also really cool to meet ppl. ppl make stuff and show it. is really good to see what they make

coffee shop groups also. is quite a few of them. just find as many as u can and join them. most them open join as well. go to their coffee shops and u will soon find ppl to chat. is why everyone else goes to them as well. to meet up and chat and make friends and not too much drama

u can also try Caledon. is lots of older ppl live and socialise on them sims. is oldy worldy elegant there. they have salon hours and get speakers in sometimes. to get on there go to Caledon Oxbridge University and ask the deans and professors. is usual one or more of them on most times. they be happy to introduce u to their world

Mariah,

Feel free to add me if you like. I haven't been doing a whole lot of exploring lately, but I'd be up for some sim hopping. I'm not sure if our time zones would work, so let me let you know that info right away. I'm on US mountain standard time. I tend to be on in the evenings between 7 and 10 SLT. If you want to just chat and see if we get along from there, that works with me :)

Yes, you need to find a group you like and just ask in the group chat what they do, where they go, etc.

Also some roleplay sims may be of use, some (like ours) is very relaxed and is used by many just to enjoy good old 1920s music, chat about all sorts of things and have some fun, even if they are not that much into 1920s roleplay.

Roleplay sims often have very active and nice communities around them.
