Many moons ago,

My credit card company flagged the purchase because the charge request was after midnight. The CC said because I had never used the card past midnight, they suspected fraud and blocked the transaction.

Oh yeah, somebody should check the Grid Status page, LL might be working on some SL features that may temporarily interrupt some processes.
