my soundwaves and mic go out after teleports

I've had issues with voice using Firestorm and Phoenix since I first used Phoenix. I'll TP into sims, not having turned on voice at all that day, and my mic will go on by itself and I won't know it (there's no green indicator over my head, just the white dot) until someone tells me. Other times, I'll TP somewhere or move onto a different parcel with someone that I was talking to in voice and my mic, or the other person's, will go out, requiring disable/enable (with varying degrees of success).

I've just learned to live with it, clicking my mic on and off when I TP so that people don't complain, and going to Skype when I have to.
