I have tried on lots of them and bought several but not all look good on my body. So if it doesn't look good on the body, either change the body to make it look good or don't buy the skin. I had to check the demo a couple of times before I finally made a purchase, but it all comes down to the shape of your avatar's body that makes it look nice. Personally I like the, if i remember the name correctly since i haven't been in world for a while now, is the Elena glow skin. It has a beautiful silvery shade to it and even has skins with blood on them, (my avi is a vampire so this was a very nice touch).
