There is often a problem with the Linden web site that provides provides profiles and other information like Destination Guide. The profiles site uses security certificates. Some times the in viewer browser fails to correctly collect the cert.

Fixing that depends on your viewer. When asking any technical question, open the viewer. Before or after login, click Help->About and copy/paste that information into your posts. You'll get a more precise answer.

You can try capturing the certificate by visiting http://my.secondlife.com with you Internet brownser. Once you can see profiles their, you should be able to see them in the viewer.

Also open Preferences in the Viewer and make sure cookies are enabled. The viewer is using a web browser to display profiles and feeds within the viewer. The viewer's browser is based on Web Kit. This viewer is used for those tasks whether you select to use the internal browser or an external browser.
