If you are talking of outfits you added to your avatar, go to your worn items (the little shirt icon in the latest viewer). Click-right on the clothes and choose "detach from yourself".

If you mean you cannot take off the painted panties on your skin, it is because you are wearing the basic "modesty" skin. You can't take those off. The only way to remove them is to wear another skin. You can find some in your library folder and you can also look for a new one on the marketplace. When you find a skin you like, click right and choose "wear".

Hello glitzbabyboo and welcome to SL Forums. You can do an avatar test. In Viewer 3, you find it under Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) --> Avatar --> Character Tests --> Test Male / Female. After that you will see your avatar like a noob but can change outfit again wearing your favorite.
