Jackie Twist
Decided to try out viewer 3 and got this weirdness...You can see that odd shape attached to my avatar. Basically that was just one of many random shapes of various shapes and sizes that kept flashing up on my avatar for a split second at random intervals. I had to keep tapping PrintScreen to be able to even capture that.
Pussycat Catnap
This looks like you're attaching your inventory. Check the fold 'current outfit' - is there a BUNCH of stuff there that's attached to the location invalid? If so, crash your veiwer. You need to crash it rather than log out so it doesn't save the 'process' of queuing attachments. Then you need to go back in and unattach those items in current outfit. I had this happen yesterday. I wore about 1000 items before I stopped it... Third time its hit me. It happens when I'm right clicking a folder... I could swear I must've chosen 'wear all' but I don't even see that as an option in the higher level folders like 'clothing' - or in any folder that has subfolders... First time was a year ago, second time was last week... The other option would be that you have LOD factor too low, or bandwitdh setting too low or too high - or objects too low in graphics, and you're seeing items fail to render 'quick enough.' Jackie Twist
Just logged back in and for a while it seemed to have stopped... until I discovered that if I zoom right in to the avatar and then back out a certain distance it triggers it! There doesn't seem to be anything in the current outfit folder of my inventory that is marked as invalid either.
LoveAngeL Lyre
Hello Jackie. Try to disable VBO and see if that makes any difference. Preferences --> graphics --> hardware --> enable OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects (disable this option).

Pussycat Catnap
zooming in and out to trigger sounds like an LOD issue with sculpties. What's your LOD? 4 or higher?

Pussycat Catnap
Look here: http://catnapkitty.wordpress.com/2010/08/08/getting-started-in-second-life/ And search for: "RenderVolumeLOD" - That will give you a screenshot of what it is and where to set it.
