Waiting for region Handshake

While attempting to load second life i get the message "waiting for region handshake" and the load stops i know this has someting to do with my firewall settings but im not sure what i have to change

The "Waiting for Region Handshake" message occurs when the Second Life Viewer does not receive an acknowledgement from the server.  The usual cause of this error is a firewall blocking UDP packets. Reconfigure your firewall to resolve this problem.

Peerblock is another popular firewall that people run. This was blocking it for me. Disabled it - worked like a charm.
