I was given these hairs which are illegal right because they are made from demo's and should I wear them or arent they illegal

Hello Aliemay. Do not wear / use these hair. Generally if you see in your inventory stuff without a creator (Creator: Unknown), delete it. You can check it with right click on the item in your inventory --> Properties. You can fine so many free hair or almost free if you want or at Marketplace or at stores in world.

First of all, LoveAngels answer may not be completely accurate.  Checking properties  of an OBJECT (and hair is an object) from your inventory window will not always show the creators name.

Sometimes to see the creators name you have to either rez the object in world or wear it and choose the edit window.

But I will ask the question, how do you know the hair is stolen and would suggest at a minimum if you absolutely know it is stolen that you delete it.
