Since I updated viewer my SL viewer log-in page is a split screen of NOTHING. Please help.

my SL viewer log-in page is a split screen of black and grey nothingness. Please help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the SL viewer 3 times..still the same SPLIT SCREEN OF NOTHING.  I have also tried both Firestorm viewer and Sigalarity viewer and Firestorm also has this screen but Sigalarity wont even respond to me clicking it...

Try clearing your browser cache.  The log in screen is a web page deliverd to your computer by your browser so a borked browser cache can cause all sorts of problem like yours.

Hello Ayumi1Chan and welcome to SL Forums. Assuming that the previous version was working good for you, you can uninstall the new version and download again the previous one (3.2.1). You can find it here. In this case, don't forget (in your log in screen) to set your software updates no to be installed automatically (Me --> Preferences --> Setup).

i have exactly the same issue - nothing helps....

 

When i go to an older version (of SL viewer or Firestorm)  I come in, but all textures are wrong....  no fun. I am busy for over 3 hours now.....

It didn't help me either.  I downloaded the previous version and I see again the same black/grey split screen.  It also crashes when I try to close the application.

 

What's wrong?
