You can use a debit card tied to your checking account. Treat the debit card as if it's a credit card when entering the billing information.
A word of caution. For about a week now there have been more than usual complaints about updating billing information failing. Roughly a week ago LL did some (evidently) major billing maintenance........and that's about when these recent complaints started hitting the forums. I would call billing before I did anything right now.......ask if they can guide you through the process while you're on the phone with them (explain your concerns of the postings for the last week about billing updating issues). The few times I've called for billing support they support people have been very helpful.
