It is a legitimate notice.  Please note that when you make any changes to your account information, you must always do it by logging in to your dashboard at secondlife.com .  Never follow a link that someone provides to you in an e-mail or from another web site.  If you ever have a question about your own account, you may either sublit a support ticket or simply call the LL Billing Office.  The billing team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.:

I hope I was perfectly clear in my first post to this question.  I said "Please note that when you make any changes to your account information, you must always do it by logging in to your dashboard at secondlife.com .  Never follow a link that someone provides to you in an e-mail or from another web site."  I am NOT IN ANY WAY advising the OP to respond directly to this notice by clicking on the link in it.
