Lindens with Ideal

I want to pay for lindens, but I don't have a creditcard. Is it still possible to do with Ideal?

For quite a while Linden Lab uses so called Local Payments for residents outside the U.S. Since iDEAL is a payment method in the Netherlands, chances are it might be availabe. Probably some other Dutch resident knows about. But you can also just try to add a payment method and check if it's listed in there. You can still cancel the process then.

Here is a list of L$ exchanges, some of which will let you buy L$ directly with Dutch currency >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Archive/Third_Party_Linden_Dollar_Exchanges  .   All of these exchanges have been tested and have passed Linden Lab's own Risk API. If you choose to use a currency exchange other than the Lindex, it is wise to avoid ones that you find with a simple Google search, especially if they do not appear on this list.  Some exchanges have been known to be fraudulent, either charging unusually high fees or being used as scams that may cause privacy issues.

Yes, I know. But only barely so. It was current until last week, when the page was reformatted. Rand Linden referred me to this page. Most of those exchanges have been in operation for a long time and are likely to still be available for a long time to come.

The wiki is always slow and outdated. Local payments with iDeal payment method have been active for almost a year by now.
