The first 512 you own comes tier free, anything more you will be charged a monthly tier for. However keep in mind that a 512 lot only supports 117 prims which must include your house. A linden home on a 512 lot doesn't count toward the available prims you have so you have that 117 to use for personal things and furnishings.
