Converting snapshot to texture in world?

Anyone know how to convert a snapshot taken in world to a texture?

A snapshot is a texture already and can be applied to a prim the same way.  If this is not what you mean, please clarify.

The only difference between a "Snapshot" and a "Texture" is that the Snapshot was saved directly to inventory, and has never existed external to SL. You can move any snapshot to your textures folder and treat it as a texture.

If you really want the snapshot to have the normal texture icon (even though it doesn't matter), you could save the snapshot to your hard disk and then upload it back to SL, paying L$10 again. It will then be a "Texture".

I suppose the one thing you can say for a "snapshot" is that you know it hasn't been altered or touched up in a graphics program.
