LL mailed a bunch of bogus billing notices. Some sleepy Linden grabbed an old database file and processed it. There is a note in the Grid Status Reports about this. (Some people got billing notices for tier due back in 2009 and earlier!)

If you got billed for a payment that was most likely already honored on some past date, or if this bogus billing caused account problems, like getting suspended for non payment, contact billing ASAP. They know about the isue but need the affected accounts to ID themselves, apparently.
