how do you make movie with my avatar?

I would like to make a movie (machinma) with my avatar.  Do browsers have the equipment I need to do this.  If not how is it done?  I see recorder when I go into Advance in the Phoenix viewer, what is this for?

The low cost program FRAPS does a great job of capturing video from SL and other online games.  There are also some freeware programs.  Google "video capture".
