SL using Spoon

Has anyone tried playing SL using the application plug-in called Spoon?

Supposedly the plug-in allows users to access SL without installing the SL software on the computer.

This is about the most I could find using Google.  Doesn't appeal to me but I can see others might find it useful.  One note of caution.  I clicked the link in the short article to "learn more"..............I got taken to some strange website that wanted me to start a download.  Nothing about what I was downloading..........sounds fishy to me.  So I would not advise Spoon Life for anyone.

 

The viewer only takes a few minutes to install and it's safe if you get the viewer from the developer's website.  Why take a chance on some unknown application...........that's how computers get compromised and hacked.

Exactly what Peggy says AND what would be the benefit running Spoon to login instead of the official tested blah blah SL viewer ?

If you not allowed to install SL, then Spoon won´t be an alternative ?

Yes to Monti, I am unable to install SL on the computers so I was looking to find alternate ways.

True, a third party app might be unsafe to use since you need to login on that app then login onto the SL viewer.

My search continues.

How about installing SL on a USB stick, i think someone wrote a tutorial for but i cannot remember fully.

This would leave the PC untouched.
