My User Setting Reverting to Default on Login

For the last week or so, approx 50% of logins I am finding all the user settings have reverted to default, I am using the Phoenix viewer and have done so for ages, and its baffling me, especially as my partner has it happening every time I do also.

Its becoming a pain having to reset all the settings so often, I am hoping someone will have the reason and a solution please?
