... Of course if your friend was listing something like:

C*m down and get your rocks off at our super spanky bonking club... Lots of naked humans, furrries and other mamanls...
:D
...

Maybe the filter got it...

A while back when they first changed the system Rock was verboten but they made it less strict with regards to ban/moderated words. I use events all the time to list, [as well as various Social Media sites] Group announcements are great but does not gather new folks, being in Destinatons helps but then there is the training new folks issue;-)

I don't advertise events because it has to be a live, hosted event. Emphasis on hosted. You have to be there the entire time. So it mostly falls to clubs and such, in the events calendar and a lot of the same-old, and all-capital letter repeated ads.

I did host some July 4 events one year and I was so tense because I was worried I'd be ten minutes late or something, and then, be in trouble for advertising a hosted event that had no host...

I'd like to advertise my cinema(s) somewhere because this month it's really cool horror films all month. Right now it's Vincent Price as a vampire slayer can you beat that? But no one's showing up. So I don't know, maybe there can be some other way to host happenings that are not hosted events? And to limit how often one place can advertise in one week or something? So people don't have to wade thru walls of text just to find actual new stuff instead of spam.

lol nope ;-) I think I may be too tied to the music scene to do them justice .. I know too many of the acts and clubs plus I own a club so maybe it would be best to let my sister dance with them;-) She is footloose and fancy free.
