Anti-Aliasing- Ubuntu 11.04 - ATI Radeon 4650 - 3.0.3

I´m using the Linux client (3.0.3) for SL and even if I try to force Anti-Aliasing through my ATI Control Panel it still won´t work. Any ideas how to fix it?

Maybe Second Life doesn't like it?  I have an ATI Radeon 6770 and I've never really played around with the anti-aliasing on it, not really sure if graphically enhances things or what.

It smoothes out the jagged lines on the 3D Geometry. Since I play on a 27" screen they're very noticeable to me since it sit at my desk while I play.

 

It worked fine on my Windows Machine when I had it, so it must be a Linux OS Issue or specifically an issue with the Linux SL client.

Sl, ATI and Ubuntu 11.04, that's a bad combination, ATI is known for not performing well in SL, and ATI is not performing well under Ubuntu 11.xx, so I'd recommend to sell that ATI card and get a nVidia card instead, nVidia works better with Ubuntu 11.xx and with SL under Ubuntu.

Linux Mint 11 ( Ubuntu 11.04 based), nVidia 590 GTX
