Body Part Failed in Data Base

Happens a lot, but it is a harmless annoyance. This just means it screwed up while trying to fetch data from the asset server. Sometimes caused by using different viewers, and having conflicts over preference and cache file locations. Clearing cache and logging off and on again usually fixes it.

There is a flock of reasons why one gets a failed body part. Most of the fixes are the same as an avatar rez fail. See Avatar Render Problems: Ghost Cloud Smoke Ball Ruth or an inventory problem: Lost Inventory and Missing Inventory Fix – Help.

Clearning cache and relogging is the easy first step to try. When that fails read through the articles.

You can also read through the viewer logs to see if you can find a problem. They are in C:\users\[win_login_id]\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\logs\. Search on error and warning.

Also, regons are now on the new inventory API, since last week. Only new viewers are using it. There may be bugs...
