How do you remove hair bases?

When I buy hair from the market place and put it on, I always put on the hair base first. How do you remove it after you put it on, you can't detach it like you do the hair?      Thank you.

You can put on another like you put on another skin. You do not NEED (most of the time if there isn't actual hair drawn onto the hairbase) to replace the one you are wearing. Most of the time I find I am still in the generic hairbase that came with my avatar almost four years ago. Hair bases sometimes are used as eyebrows shapers, but in general they are mostly used just to cover up system hair. So just like a skin and a shape, you need to have one on. Hence no removal.

Chic is right.  There are a few things you can't detach, only replace...because they form an essential part of your basic avatar's "description".  Your shape, skin, eyes, and hair base all are of this type of item.

I have a collection of baldies, because in addition to making you bald they also control your eyebrow shape.
