I tried downloading the new update for my mac but it acts like it is loading then never shows viewer

My computer downloads the update then when i click on the icon it bounces once like it is loading then stops and the game never opens

Hello Jimmbo. If you have problems with the last update of V3, download again the previous version (3.0.0). You can find it here.  Just remember to set your software updaters not to be installed automatically. In your log in screen, Preferences --> Setup --> Hardware

Recommended also (except of un-installation) to delete all contests at the following folder:

/Users/<username>/Library/Caches/SecondLife (with SL closed)
