You can look in SEARCH in the classifieds under EMPLOYMENT. You can also search the classifieds for fields you are interested in. Be aware that jobs in SL are mostly for fun and something to do. Most (not all) pay next to nothing -- even 1 linden an hour. So if you want to work to EARN, that isn't all that easy.   So read those ads carefully .

 

Most employers want you to be over 30 days and many jobs require you have nice skin and clothes.

Most people who are teaching in SL are teachers in RL, and they are teaching their own RL students here. (And they don't get paid in SL for it.)

The other possibilities that you named are all up to you.  If you want to call yourself a cheerleader or a veterinarian, do it.  Then see if you can convince anyone to pay you to do it (not likely unless you can do something really special that's worth paying for).  The point is, almost everyone in SL is self-employed except for DJs, dancers, and escorts.  You create a product or develop a service and try to find customers/clients who want to pay you for them.

Not all are teachers IRL. Some are a part of NCI who teaches things not related to school at all. I am sure the ones from like Willowdale and other rp sims are possibly RL teachers
