Large groups just wont load

Yeah, basically the title. Any large groups wont load when I click to start a chat in them.

I'm using the latest version of Phoenix.

This is not just you.  Large groups always take a long time to load.  It's not a priority asset and the system will use whatever resources to get data out of the Db that it has available without adding delays to more critical data.  However, most large Db calls are slow much like when you are querying large strings of financial data, etc.

You can speed this up but not by much by trying to access large amounts of data on a clean and low lag sim.  In the end, large groups do take some time to load and it is a strain on their Db just like it would be when loading a web page with a lot of data.

Well I'll go ya one better.

Large groups won't load...the chat won't work in them...the people won't alphabetize or even be found in them  -- it says "not found" even when they are there...the land in them won't show up...the acres left won't display so you can't tell, is there enough tier or not...

In short, make smaller groups.

Sometimes it's not just large groups, but any group.. it is a definite annoyance for RP, tho I muddle thru... other smaller groups are less likely to have problems, but they all have had problems, from 3 members to 600...  it's probably on JIRA, but not a priority
