If you have Mac, it's a known issue for users with Macs. See https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25627

A solution described at the following link and it is worth to give a try: http://neilrobinson.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/a-fix​-for-dns-errors/

You need to add the following additional DNS servers to your DNS settings in Network settings under System Preferences:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

If it doesn't work for you try to download again a previous version of V3 or V2,

(in this case set your software updates NO to be installed automatically. (Preferences --> Setup --> Hardware)

or try a Third-Party Viewer: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer​_Directory

(1) Versuchen Abschalten Ihres Computers, Abziehen des Router und Modem für ein paar Minuten, und stecken Sie sie wieder in und Neustarten. Das einfache Schritt kann klar alles

(2) Wenn nicht, versuchen Sie den Cache manuell. Mit Second Life geschlossen, um den entsprechenden Weg zu gehen und löschen Sie alle Dateien im "Cache"-Ordner.

(4) Wenn die Dinge noch durcheinander, wenden Sie sich an Ihren ISP. Vielleicht sind sie auf ihrer Internet-Verbindungen arbeiten. Mine gehen für ca. 20 Minuten einmal im Monat oder so, während sie saugen Staub aus ihren Servern sind, oder was auch immer sie tun.
