Hi!

I think it's a great idea that the viewer updates automatically, but please make sure the installation actually works!... Ever since the new update was released I've been trying and trying to correctly install it, but the same error always occurs:

Error opening file for writing:

C:\Program files(x86)\Secondlifeviewer2\llplugin\imageformats\qtiff4.dll

This is only the first file that seems to have a problem, mostly all the next files seem to be corrupted. I've completely uninstalled SL over and over again. I've downloaded the installation file over and over again. And yet I always get the same error. The viewer does seem to work when I just choose to skip the files and finish the installation, but it is more unstable than ever (and I thought that wasn't possible). Haha and the crash reports always freeze my computer now. If this messes up my computer I'm sueing LL (hehe jk)

Are you re-installing new copies on top of the previously borked ones, or are you doing a clean re-install first?  In addition to removing the folder in your C:/Programs directory where the viewer's exe file is, you also need to delete the folders in Documents & Settings (both Local and Roaming) that contain your user settings.  If you don't remove every trace of the previous installation, any new one may inherit whatever was screwed up earlier.
