Whats this and why does it keep spamming me with it?

Ouch! Looks like a bug bit you Pebbles.

Executive-summary for those that far too busy/important/sane to read the Jira (also known as "the 'Janet And John' bit")

If you send lots of IMs very quickly SL thinks you're a spammer so stops you
When you send IMs to someone offline they are queued-up until they log in again
When they log-in those IMs are delivered all at once
And SL counts them as being sent all at once
It shouldn't count delivery at the same time as being sent at the same time <-- that's the bug
So it stops your IMs
