If you are the owner of the group you can untick the pay liabilities option to the other group members in the roles tab, but if you are not an owner, the group funds are distributed evenly among the members of the group.

I don't think you can take the rights from ohter owners though so it would be split among the owners?

There is no such thing as "group funds" that can be withdrawn from. Any money paid to a group is disbursed to all members with the "Pay Liabilities" role checked (and it's checked by default for the 'Everyone' role, when a group is created). The money is evenly distributed, with no accounting for what roles the person is in. Nothing is "held" for more than a day.

So if you haven't changed that default, and you just sold group land for L$10,000, and the group has 1,000 members when the disbursement happens within 24 hours, then each member gets L$10. Most probably never even noticed it.

If you JUST sold Group owned land, Kick everyone but you and one other trusted accout out of the group ASAP, or rush to uncheck the "Pay Liabilities" role permission in every role but Owner (And hopefully you're the only Owner of the group). If you already did this, you'll see your money tomorrow.

strange, when i disbanded a group and had the pay group liabilities unticked, the money still got disbursed when i sold the land.....and the land wasnt even deeded to the group.

Not sure how you managed that, if the land wasn`t group owned how would it have known what group to send the money to when it was sold?

@OP Any credits that go to your group are automatically paid out the following day, so you don`t need to manually withdraw them.
