Just PAY that account.  Find the name in Search or your friends list and Pay them.

Yes.  Just use the Pay feature to pay that avatar (account)  Note that you need to be inworld to do that but the person or avatar you are paying does not.

Hello Judith. Of course you can if you are online in world. Just open an instant message to the person you want to transfer lindens --> Pay --> Write the amount of lindens you want to transfer --> Pay.

Double check your transaction history. If you have misspelt the account name even by one letter it could have gone astray.
