Windows Developer Preview (8) anyone? Viewer installs but won't run, any tips yet?

So I decided to try out the new Win 8 / Windows Developer Preview 32 Bit. Clean install and picked up my ATI/AMD graphics card, even updated drivers through Win Update. Viewer installs fine, will not run either from shortcut or exe.

So far tried, run as admin, various compatibility modes, nothing. Tried enabling .Net and installing earlier DirectX versions, still no luck.

I know this is a totally unsupported pre-release version of Windows, but it would be interesting to learn of anyone else who has tried and maybe got it working? Curious how it will run, if it will run.

PS. Tried Official Viewer, Official Beta and Phoenix.

This isn't the best place to ask.  You'll probably find more people who have experimented with it by posting your question in the Technology forum at http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/bd-p/SLViewer .

You're better off waiting until W8 is released and officially supported by Microsoft and has drivers available before even bothering if you're not a programmer hacking viewer code to work with the next iteration of Windows.  Get out of the beta if you can't take the debugging!

Just adding that 1.23 seems to work fine. It's the only viewer that seems to work at all at the moment.
