Why has flying gotten so bad!

I'm flying along enroute to SLIA and at 500 meters south I call for clearance, flaps up, gears down...And nothing. Just stopped in midair over open ocean, Then a notice that the plane has been deleted. What the heck is going on! The skies are turning into the Bermuda Triangle.

Will this get better? Or should SL citizens give up on flying, boating. Will LL let creators lose revenue?

This is sad, boating and flying is one of the joys of SL :/

I gave up on flying fast vehicles and passing through someone's property. Now I just use a simple scripted balloon and move slowly along the Linden roads or protected land. It seems to be much better when you do that. Can't say much with Zindra though. I've lost many hairs on my head whenever there is a sim crossing.

from the description you crossed a region border, the server didn't re-unite you with the vehicle in time, and it either spent a minute on fast auto return land , tried to cross into a no-entry parcel, or flew offword via another region boundary.

happens a lot with fast craft =/

Ahh yes - planes disappearing, mysterious glowing apparitions, and ships with no crew - sounds like the Blake Sea Triangle to me!
