Need help about selling lindens without a credit card ?

Hi everyone,

I have a regular no payment info account with lindens on it and I need help on how to change my lindens into real money without a credit card. All I have is a debit card.

I made a paypal account but I dont understand how to make it work with second life. I never put any real money in second life.

 

I hope someone can help me I really have no clue ! Please answer here if you know how to do that or IM me inworld if you want at "Vexy Drezelan"

Generally you can still use a debit card as a credit card. It'll take the money out of your checking account (or put it in, as you want to do). The main difference I've noticed is that credit transactions take longer to come out of your account than debit transactions, which come out immediately.

PayPal wise, I don't know. Hopefully someone else will pop on with more advice about that.

A debit card works fine as a payment method and can be used for purchasing Lindens or paying premium accounts (it's my method of paying my premium).  Just treat the debit card as if it's a CC except put in the debit card number instead of a credit card number.  Occassionally you'll get a payment pending if you look at your banking information but as long as the payment is not rejected or fails, LL will wait. 

 

For the cashing out of Lindens as far as I know you can only cash out using PayPal.  So the PayPal account needs to be taken care of......you need a verified PayPal account for LL to pay into.  I've never cashed any Lindens out and I haven't used my PayPal account in so long I doubt it's verified anymore.  I can't tell you how to cash out.......sorry.

Hello thanks a lot for answering, at least now I know debit is fine.

I now have a verified paypal account. I read that you need to buy lindens at least once before you can change lindens into real money ?

Could someone please tell me whats the minimum we can buy to be able to sell as much lindens as we want?

If you have never traded on Lindex, you will not be able to sell until you have a trading limit. It will be at 0 until you have made your first buy of $20 or more & then it goes up automatically after that https://secondlife.com/my/lindex/describe-limits.php?

If you do not want to buy in order to sell, you can checkout one of the other approved exchanges instead of Lindex http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Linden_Dollar_Marketplace
