If you are talking about the Alienware Aurora, then yes it should run SL very well. It has a liquid cooled CPU which makes it eminently overclockable and Alienware factory overclock it although rather conservatively. What CPU were you thinking of as it has quite a selection available from the i3 2300 to the i7 2600K. If the budget allows, go for the core i5 2500K or higher. The 580 GTX should work very well in SL but so would the cheaper 560ti.
