Isn't Hacienda a national chain, or are you my close neigbor
;)
?  I remember these ads, they didn't last very long.

Yikes, Lillie, my bad....should have been a local branch of the national chain
:(
Whenever this company does anything bad, our local news picks it up bigtime...always slow news days out here in the midwest, lol.

No, I think they are a midwest chain.  I believe we're neighbors hehe.  I'm a midwest girl too.. "There's more than corn in Indiana"... I'm here.

LMAO I remember that one too!  It's not a sign or a slogan, but we had a mayor here years ago named Harry Baals.  There is a park in town that has a street named after him, so I remember asking my dad how he got a Harry Baals Dr. street sign that was hanging in our garage.  That was when I learned that boys steal street signs.  haha

@Lillie...hmmmm, we should probably PM, I have a feeling I'm closer to you.  Used to live in Mishawaka, now I'm about 50 miles east of Chicago, just shy of the Michigan border, on the lake :)

ETA:  Oh wait, you said east of South Bend/Mishawaka...that would probably put us further apart, but almost neighbors, lol.

My dad worked for a firm putting up marquees for fetes and weddings. The staff t-shirts had the company name on the front, and "Erection Specialist" on the back.

A hairstylist close to my hometown had the name "Public Hair". They deliberately emphasised this by having the 'L' in a different font to the rest of the sign...

P U B l I C  H A I R

Something like that, anyway.

The letter L was stolen from the sign on at least one occasion.
