cwenmaria Abeyante
In the past couple of weeks, a lot of shoes I buy suddenly leave my avi with a 'see through gap' right where the shoe should fit to the leg. It does not matter if I use the alpha mask, or invisi prims - same problem. Any ideas?
Venus Petrov
Try editing the shoe and moving it up to close the gap.
squashy Beeswing
You need to left click, edit and raise the shoe so that it attaches to your leg. It's a thing with shorter avatars. :-) Edited 'cos of perennial difficulties with Left and Right.
cwenmaria Abeyante
I tried that and all it did was make my avi feet show and distort the entire look. Even stretching and shrinking the invisi prims etc didn't work.
cwenmaria Abeyante
I'll give it another shot - gosh short in RL, short in SL ....problems everywhere lol
Rowan Villiers
Yes, it's just a matter of those alpha layers not being the right length for your legs. IF you're seeing feet when you move the shoe up, however, you're not wearing alphas. Get ahold of me inworld and I can send you a bunch of full perm opensource alpha laters in varying lengths that may work better for you. I've had to use several of them, because sometimes simply moving the shoe up makes your legs look wrong/out of proportion.
Bree Giffen
Did your feet size change? Or maybe the system shoes that normally come with prim shoes are not loading?
cwenmaria Abeyante
Thanks Rowan! And also everyone for their help. I (patiently) tried all your advice, and yes - managed to get the shoe to fit properly! I'll be in touch soon Rowan. thanks again everyone!! Rowan Villiers
Np at all, I'd hate to see anyone have to use invisiprims when there's another choice!
Storm Clarence
I use to work in a shoe store but it wasn't a good fit. :matte-motes-bored: I left without learning about gaps.
