i am running os x 10.5.2. after downloading i receive error message 'you can't open the application

I'm running OS X 10.5.2.  After downloading SL viewer I receive an error message 'You can't open the application 'Second Life viewer" because it's not supported on this architecture'  What are my options?  I'd really like to explore SL.

You can use Viewer 1.23 which does not require Intel processor:

Viewer 1.23, last updated in 2009, is still available.

Note: Viewer 1.23 is no longer under development. Since it was last updated in 2009, there have been many features added to Second Life, some of which will not be available to you using this viewer.

All other viewers require intel processor Macs and recent OS such as Snow Leopard.
