Cole Riel
How exactly does the "partnership" work in sl after it's sent? I checked and it says once you've sent the invite the person in question will be notified at their accounts e-mail address. But does the game tell them they have a message or does it say to go to their e-mail? Or does the game just not say anything about it and the person will only know if they check their mail or you tell them? Thanks so much!
Peewee Musytari
If they click the partners link on their dashboard they will see the proposal & they are sent an email telling them that it is there and a link to it. So yeah if they don`t check their mail they won`t know...Assuming the email didn`t get lost in the post lol You could find some other excuse to get them to check their mail...Like say you got one of them emails from LL about the new premium benefits and ask if they got one too. Cole Riel
So basically, the game says nothing. OK, I just wanted to know. Thanks a lot.

Knowl Paine
You have to be kidding me. I didn't know how the system works, clearly, little thought has been put into the system by it's developers. I rarely check my email. This is clearly broke. Void Singer
assuing you are going to request a partnership, in most cases you would tell the person yourself anyways... it'd be pretty poor taste to either propose, or offer a business alliance via an automated message anyway. and the system is ancient and kinda pointless anyways, considering it's something you could do just by adding a line to your profile, yet costs money to use the LL sytem of it, with no benefit. Claireschen Hesten
coming from my own experience of being partnered i had no idea my now ex-partner had 'proposed' until he prompted me to check my e-mails (i'm pretty lazy at going through my e-mails) you get no notification inworld unless your partner to be is nice enough to tell you before hand
