How do I go about increasing the limits of lindens I can buy in a month?

Limits are raised automatically based on a fixed schedule.  The key is that they don't start raising until you actually purchase linden or pay for a premium account for the first time.  If you need to trade more than the limit allows, there are provisions to request higher limits.  All this is outlined on the Billing and Trading Limits page
