And even a little more info as you may not know this even if you aren't "new" (hence a surname) :D.

 

You can get nice free skyboxes from time to time as give aways, group presents and hunt prizes. I imagine there are several free ones on the marketplace also.  When you pick out your skybox (free or purchased) make sure it will fit in a 16 x 32 footprint -- the typical size of a 512 lot. Also, since you only have 117 prims to work with, make sure it is very low prim or you will not be able to have any furniture.

ALSO, if you haven't put a skybox up in the air before, it would be good to practice in a sandbox (assuming the skybox is a copy model) so you can get the hang of it. You can place it on your land and then (if it is completely linked) set the Z coordinate in the "position" field to the height you wan t ( like 1,500 meters). 

You can then fly up to the skybox, rez a box on the roof, sit on it and lower yourself down into the skybox using the build tools. THEN set a landmark or a home location there and you are set.
