Kayaker Magic
How can I get the size of a prim when all I know is the UUID?llGetObjectDetails will give me the location, the position, but not the size. The prim I am interested in is not part of the build that the script is in. (can't use llGetLinkPrimitiveParams)
Rolig Loon
How about llGetBoundingBox ? It's not quite the same thing as llGetScale, but it's close.
Kaluura Boa
That is not really the size of a prim but the size of an object which can be a single prim... vector uuGetObjectSize(key id){ list bb = llGetBoundingBox(id); return llList2Vector(bb, 1) - llList2Vector(bb, 0);} But, alas, llGetBoundingBox() is currently bugged. See Jira SCR-90.

Kayaker Magic
Dang! Bounding box won't work for me 'cause it returns an axis-alligned box that encloses all the prims in a build, not just the one prim I want. What I'm trying to find out is a if a point is inside or outside a projection of the top of a prim onto the XY plane. If I know the center, rotation, (from llGetObjectDetails) and size, I can rotate the 4 top corners and use isPointInPolygon2D. The bounding box is region alligned and includes other prims in the size... Tuns out when I found the prim's UUID it also sent me a string with the size burried in it, but now I have to parse that string and save the size for use later...
